Booking conditions and procedures apply to all guests intending to tour with Fire Lily Tours.

1. Booking of a tour

20% of full fare is due when booking of a tour. Final payment is due one calender-month (31 days) prior to departure. Documents will be released only upon receipt of full payment.

2. Cancellation

Cancellation must be done in writing. On receipt of written notification the following cancellation charges apply: up to 31 days prior to departure: 20% of tour price forfeited; less than 31 days notice: 50% of tour price forfeited; and less than 2 weeks prior to departure or after departure: l00% of tour price forfeited.

3. Insurance

It is compulsory for all passengers to be insured for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment. Non-residents of Southern Africa must ensure that they are covered before arriving in Southern Africa, as insurance cover is not obtainable locally.

4. Tour Prices

We will do our best to keep to the prices published. Should increases be forced on us by exchange rates, tax increases and excessive fuel price increases etc, we reserve the right to surcharge without notice up to a maximum of 10% of the tour fare.

5. Changes to schedules

Although every effort is made to adhere to schedules, it should be borne in mind that the company shall reserve the right to change any tour due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e.: road condition, weather, mechanical breakdown, accidents and political unstability), beyond the control of the company.

6. Baggage

Clients are requested to bring along not more than 2 bags, soft sports kit bag type, weighing with contents a maximum of 20 kg. (Camera and photo equipment excluded). Due to the fact that we run mobile safaris, we need to control the weight we carry and the available space we have.

7. Passport and visa

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that his passport and visa are valid for the countries to be visited. The company, the staff and their agents cannot be held liable should a passenger of a group be refused entry into any country for any reasons.

8. Health

Anti-malaria precautions should be commenced prior to departure to the North of Namibia.

9. Photography

The company reserves the right to make use of any photograph or film taken on safari for general publicity purposes without further notice and without payment. Acknowledgement will be given to the photographer.

10. Responsibility

The information on this website is compiled and distributed by the Directors of Fire Lily Tours under the express condition, that the company, their servants and agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, death, delay or inconvenience to any person or its luggage or other personal property, whether the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of the company, their servants or agents or other person directly or indirectly in the employment or service of the company or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever. Although everything possible will be done to keep to the itineraries, schedule and prices, these are subject to alteration or cancellation without prior notice. No liability shall fall upon the company in respect of such alteration or cancellation. Without liability or costs to itself, the company reserves the right to refuse accepting or retaining any person as a member of any tour without giving any reasons therefore. In the event of illness or illegal or incompatible behaviour of the passenger, he will not be entitled to any refund. In the event of any tour being rendered impossible or inadvisable by weather, war, government or interference of any cause whatsoever, the company shall have the right to cancel any tour or the remainder thereof or make any alteration in regard of schedule, route, accommodation and transport. The extra expenses incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the passenger. Tours are operated subject to a minimum of passengers. Should this minimum not be reached, the company reserves the right to cancel the tour. In this instance any deposits paid will be refunded. The conditions are automatically accepted with the booking of a tour.
